Our client, A major Voice and Data Company, is seeking a Mid to Sr. AV Technicians responsible for carrying out various duties and procedures throughout NYC and surrounding Burroughs.

Responsibilities:
Installing speakers
Installing brackets on walls
Installing transmitters and receivers under tables
Hang TV-s and monitors
Install room schedulers to show when rooms are occupied
Terming RJ45 heads on cables
Must have OSHA Cert along with SST cards!
Must have own Tools

Required Skills

Exp with Cat 5, 6 cable and also a Certification is a plus.
AV Experience a plus!
Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure
Performing maintenance on existing cabling systems
Testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications
Identifying and removing redundant cabling
Installing of televisions, routers, and internet technology devices
Diagnosing and solving network issues for a client
Researching new developments within network and cable services
Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulation
Knowledgeable of different Audio Visual device installation such as Logi televisions, television mounts, speakers, cameras.
Professionally dress, route cat 5e - 6, RG-59 coaxial cable for termination according to TIA/EIA-578-B standard, MIL-PRF-39012 standard
